I worked as the front-end developer and designer on this project, collaborating closely with the engineering team to build a robust and scalable interface. I also worked directly with the VC leading the investment and the CEO to ensure the product vision aligned with both market needs and business strategy.

Design Philosophy

Compliance is inherently stressful — our design had to reduce anxiety, not add to it. We built a clean, audit-friendly interface where every action was trackable and reversible. The visual language used clear status indicators (pass/warning/fail), progressive disclosure for complex forms, and a timeline-based review system that made it easy to see the history of any compliance item at a glance.

AI Integration

AI was embedded throughout the compliance workflow:

• Automated Document Review: AI agents scanned uploaded compliance documents, flagging missing fields, expired certifications, and potential issues before human review.
• Intelligent Risk Scoring: Each compliance item was automatically scored based on historical patterns, helping teams prioritize the most critical issues first.
• Smart Remediation Suggestions: When a compliance check failed, the system generated step-by-step remediation guides based on similar past cases.

The Impact

By combining a clear, pressure-tested design with intelligent automation, we reduced the average compliance review cycle by over 50%. Teams could now handle more audits with fewer errors, and the CEO gained a real-time dashboard view of the company's overall compliance health.
